Family's Celebration Turns to Mourning as Air Strike Destroys Home
In a sad event highlighting the human cost of the continuing Israel-Gaza war, newborn twins allegedly perished in an Israeli air strike in Gaza as their father was in a local government office registering their birth. Mohammed was abroad when his neighbors called furiously to let him know his house in Deir al Balah had been attacked. Shocked and running back, Mohammed discovered that the attack had taken the lives of his young twins as well as his wife and the babies’ grandmother.
