A True Life blast in a group of flats in Alloa, Clackmannanshire, results in the death of one man and three injured. It happened in a dwelling at Kellie Place; police and other first responders arrived immediately.

The identity of the deceased, who was inside the building during the time of the explosion, was confirmed dead on the scene.
Police Scotland said: “What exactly transpired in this property remains under investigation on our part.” But we have seen that one male has died” The force added that “follow-up actions that include inquiries to confirm his identity and to ensure his next of kin is availed all the support they may require are ongoing.”

The blast injured three people, and they were immediately evacuated to Forth Valley Royal Infirmary. It is not clear to what extent the blast has damaged the couple.

The A907 and B9096 will be closed by the police; Kellie Place and Tullibody Road will also be closed. While some are being done today and tomorrow, authorities said more may result in closure in the next few days due to more utility work.
